So far so good.

Really fast delivery. Unscented still has a pleasant scent. This does track a lot, and the pieces are big. Luckily, it usually stays in the litter box zone. Shoveling the litter is a bit more difficult than my last litter. The pieces coagulate and lock in place, so I'm using a little bit more elbow grease than usual and getting larger pieces than before. This is supposed to mean that I'm getting all the waste out instead of it falling into a smaller piece that stinks up the litter box. It's also a bit heavier than standard litter. I do like that it's more environmentally friendly. The smell has improved too. I'm going to stick with it.

Not worth it

Well, it stinks. Terrible at preventing odor. The liter sticks to my cats paws and fur so it’s everywhere. Very disappointing.

So far so good!

So far so good - got since this litter appears to be compatible with our Litter Robot. Have only been using for a week so far.

My new favorite

My new favorite. It's on the more expensive side, but the scent and the smell control is really amazing.

High Expectations Too High

SOYSAND is the first tofu litter we’ve tried from clumping clay litter. While tofu litter seems to be much better overall than clumping clay litter, there were a few things that I loved and didn’t love so much.

What I loved about it:
- no dust
- worked well with our automatic litter robot
- cats transitioned easily from clumping clay litter
- 12 lbs lasted us about 2.5-3 weeks with 4 cats in the litter robot
- less tracking around the house

What I didn’t love:
- little to no odor control. Although there was no ammonia smell, the scent of the tofu litter mixed with the cat urine produced a really unpleasant smell. Almost like a heavily wet or soiled hamster . This smell was overpowering and pretty much took over our laundry room where the litter robot is placed.
- Although tracking was limited to the vicinity of the litter robot, there was still quite a bit of tracking
- cats did not cover their poop
- takes a while to clump (over 15 minutes) and remains kind of gooey in the litter robot, less than ideal for cycling because it sticks to the litter robot as it cycles and less than ideal when there are multiple users

Perhaps my expectations for tofu litter were a little high, but I’ll probably try a few more brands to see if their odor control, clumping, and tracking are any better.

PetSnowy Pros and cons

Pros:
1. Unscented. The nature smell of the litter doesn’t bother at all
2. Light weight
3. Clumps very hard
Cons
1. Gets completely stuck at the base of PetSnowy. even when it’s filled to max line.
2. Bought because I was hoping hard clumps won’t leave drag smears on the surface when cylinder is rotating.
3. The time to harden is long enough that it gets in paws of cats and I see litter smears outside of litter box.

Wasn’t what we were expecting

Prior to using soy sand, we were using regular clay/sand litter and were upset about how much it tracked around the house. We were told explicitly by this brand that this cat litter would help with tracking and that it was compatible with self-cleaning litter boxes. We even stated the name brand of our litter box and was told that it was compatible with this one. From the beginning, we poured the required amount of soy sand litter into our box and our box was stating that it wasn’t a sufficient amount (despite reprogramming) and so our litter box has to constantly remain overfilled with soy sand litter. This brought up another issue of the litter box being unable to properly clean itself. I’ve found multiple times that pee has been stuck to the wall in a paste form (in which i have to remove myself). I’m not upset at the fact that the litter was incompatible, just that we were lied to. It does help a little bit with tracking.

Best litter

Best litter !!!

I love soysand. It absorbs quick, has a milky scent and it works great in my petsnowy. You just gotta figure out the best ‘delay time’ for when the litter box turns over/cleans and you’re good, it doesn’t stick. Mine works at 3 minutes after my cat leaves the box.

great clumping power & ACTUALLY dust

great clumping power & ACTUALLY dust free!!

Love this stuff!

SoySand for Litter Robot

SoySand Tofu litter has worked great with our new litter robot. Almost no tracking of the litter around the house. Just a little around the litter box. No dust, No smell. It’s great

Love

Love it

Low tracking!

We love soy sand. It tracks so much less than other brands and is easy to clean up. It’s not dusty and my cats like it.

TRACKS EVERYWHERE

I like how it clumps hard once you give it a minute to soak everything up. I hate that it TRACKS EVERYWHERE! With 3 cats and 4 litter boxes there is no escape from the granules, they are everywhere!

Best Tofu Litter Ive found

I love the milky scent of this tofu litter. I can use the smaller sifter attachment in my Petsnowy with this litter and it doesnt leave big clumps of litter stuck to the bottom of the litter bed. Ive been searching for a long time for a tofu litter that doesnt stick to the bottom. Maybe a few little specs stick but not huge clumps like other litters. Most importantly my cat loves it!

Genuinely love this product, I get no terrible ammonia smells, and it’s decently easy to scoop! My cat seemed to love it!

Works great with my Litter Robot 4!

I really love this litter especially because it works great in my Litter Robot 4! No smell and very light tracking! My boys (cats) love it!

Cats and I love it!

Cats started using this new litter, without hesitation. It’s great, controls odor well and is low dust.

Been going through multiple cat litters to find the right one, absolutely fantastic! No horrendous ammonia smells, easily scoopable, and actually no dust for once!! my cats took it quickly, and I think they enjoy it as much as I do!

Found out about this litter at a cat show in San Diego

Found out about this litter at a cat show in San Diego.

Totally needed to re-up asap - Ordered July 2 and received it on July 5! I thank you, my cat thanks you!
This litter is awesome - no lingering amonia smell, easy to scoop with very little mess.
The cat station (in my garage) just smells and feels cleaner overall.

It's Just Better.

I like it's low-dust characteristic.
It also traps ammonia odors better.
Solid clumps are easy to scoop. Finally, its texture tends to stay in the litter box better than clay litters.

Excellent cat litter

Been using this cat litter with my 2 cats for 6 months now. Low tracking, good odor control, easy to scoop up, good packaging, good clumping and absorption. And I personally like the look of it 😅. Perhaps not the cheapest litter on the market but I’m happy with sticking to it for the above reasons. I recommend giving it a try.

Really great stuff

I had to buy different litter because this arrived a day later than I did with my cat. My cat didn't use the pre bought litter, and then when this arrived and I poured it on top, he used it straight away :) Not sure if it is to do with the litter, or because he was hiding for the first 12 hours and then really needed to go, but it was quite impressive. The litter is very good at clumping, and doesn't smell.
